My Make-Up Brush Essentials

I thought in todays post I'd share with you my essential make-up brushes for everyday. Oh and aren't these roses gorgeous, Valentines gift from Anthony. Firstly the fake marble effect brush holder is from Tescos. The second photo is of course my Real Techniques Powder Brush, which is actually the only brush I have tried for applying my powder. Its great because of how big the brush is it just makes it easier and quicker to apply. Next up is my eye brushes, for my all over eyeshadow brush I use is a Barbara Daly eyeshadow brush and for blending out my crease I use the Zoeve 221 Luxe Soft Crease brush, I love a smoky eye make-up look and is fits in the crease of your eye perfectly. I cant' wait to try out more Zoeva brushes. Another from Zoeva is the 317 Wing Liner Brush obviously from the name you know what it is I use it to fill in my eyebrows and to line my eyes with powders. My newest addition is the Spectrum C03 FLawless Finish brush which I got in my February BirchBox  I cant wait to try more of these brushes, I use this brush for applying my highlighter as its tapered and the right size to glide on the high point of your face. For my concealor and what I used to use for highlighter is the Real Techniques Setting Brush I first saw Lily Pebbles use this brush for her concealer, its small enough to fit into them smaller places on your face such as under the eyes and around the nose. Lastly is my foundation brush also a new discovery is the Real Tecnhiques Buffing Brush in the Core Collection and yes I did buy the core collection just for the buffing brush but it was worth it for the size it gets the foundation put on and blending quickly.

Birchbox February Edition

Last week I received my February Birchbox Edition in the post. This is my third and last birchbox that I've payed for. This months box I felt spoilt, there were two full sized products which were the Spectrum make up brush and the exclusive LOC eye shadow pencil. I have been used this taped brush for my highlighter and it works wonders as well as the brush its self being colourful. I also received the Frat boy blusher by the Balm which I've always wanted to try, its the perfect suttle flushed colour as I don't wear blusher often this is the perfect colour. In a pouch you receive a make up remover wipe from Derm Eyes, which as there's only one I haven't used it yet. You will also get a Korres Milk Protein cleanser, this is my first korres product, its a cleanser for your face to remove makeup and clean your face I still have not used this product either. I go on holiday in March and Im trying to save the travel sizes to take away with me.

Lou Lou's Vintage Fair

This past weekend I visited Lou Lou's Vintage Fair. It is an event for those who have a passion and interest in Vintage things from food to clothes and even hair styles! The stalls are affordable and were flooded with people impressed by the large selection each stall had to offer. The two photos above is the only purchased I made this day, its a beautiful gold band with diamantes from Diamond In The Sky, it fits perfectly on my ring finger. On our way out we passed the cake stall and couldn't help admiring the cakes they had on offer.
If these photos aren't enough I also vlogged the day. Click this link to watch <<<

Chocolate Rice Cakes

I've been enjoying Chocolate Rice Cakes recently but I've also noticed it would be cheap and more fun to make them myself and it only has six steps. It's quick, healthy and contains chocolate!

So all you'll need is:
- Plain rice cakes
- Chocolate of your choice (I used milk chocolate)
- You can also add mixed fruit bag or nuts. Personally I did not.

STEP ONE: Lay out your plain rice cakes onto a tray with baking paper.

STEP TWO: Break your chocolate into small chunks into a microwaveable or heatproof bowl.

STEP THREE: Either microwave the chocolate and keep stirring every 20 seconds until melted or boil some water over the hob putting the heatproof bowl over the simmering water, make sure you water is not touching the bowl and keep stirring.

STEP FOUR: Once its melted using a spoon to pour the melted chocolate over each rice cake, use the back of the spoon to spread the chocolate evenly.

STEP FIVE: This is when you can add your fruit and nuts whilst the chocolate is still warm.

STEP SIX: Leave the tray on the side for 10 minutes until the chocolate to cool before enjoying!

Starting My Bullet Journaling

I've recently started a Bullet Journal, I first heard about this through Lily Pebbles Blog Post. She explains it better then I ever could. This system was started by an American Man and before started I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of blog posts before I made the choice to do Bullet Journal as my 2016 diary. Firstly the notebook I use is the same as Lily's its the LEUCHTTURM1917 Dotted A5 Notebook I ordered it from Amazon. Its the perfect at home and carry around size the pages are also numbered! I started in Febuary because I only purchased this book on the last week of January.

Here are my first few pages- I changed the 'Key' to fit me and make it easier to understand.  There is also the 'Main Index' which is obvious you number and write what is on each page to make each feature easy to find. I also have a year at glace which is every month and date.

The Future Log is for the following 3 or 6 months to make it easier and to remember when you plan dates for future months.

I added some of my own features instead of using all the recommended as they wasn't applicable to me. The features I added myself are my '2016 Goals' and the 'Tracker', I love the tracker page I use it to check of when I upload a Youtube video, blog post and Instagram and to check of going for walks and taking iron vitamins.

The 'Month At A Glance' is obvious a over view of the month and what there is to come. I also on this double page have my 'February Goals' and 'To-Dos' this is pretty self explanatory.

The last few pages of February are the 'Daily Logs'. I set this out as the Erin Condren Life Planner as I've also wanted on so that there is a week on a double spread. I include TV programs, to do lists, Youtube and blog to dos and birthdays!

I am going to keep you updated with this system throughout the year, I have a holiday in March so be prepared for lots of holiday fun filled things coming next.

Youtube Channel Trailer | Youtube

On Monday I uploaded my Channel Trailer. I've had my youtube for about 3 years now and I thought for any new viewers I'd let them see who I am and what I do on my channel in a 1 minute long montage. I'm really happy with how it came out and I'm looking forward to my youtube to evolve.
