This blog post is all about Jeans For Genes Day that was on Friday 5th October, and how I supported this cause. This is what I got from there website, outlining what is means...
"Jeans for Genes Day provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders through our grant programme. Each year we offer funding to a range of charities."
My school support this charity every year by having students come in non-uniform but to wear jeans and pay £1.00 each person.
I hope you supported the charity, or will do next year. It's a fantastic cause!
First of all I'd like to tell you about my new idea and dedicating to this blog; I am going to try and blog every Tuesday. Now for this Tuesdays blog, I recently posted a youtube video on some stuff I had picked up lately(below). So I decided this post will be aimed at just my beauty and skin care buys.
I picked up a nail varnish remover(£1.00) and cotton pads(60p) they was from Wilkinsons, which the nail varnish remover is not very good, it takes a while to remove nail varnish. I also got a nail file from superdrug, costing 70p. Barry M nail varnish in colour 'coral', I absolutely love Barry M nail varnishes, easy to apply and stay on for up to 5 days. The French manicure false nails are from Primark and cost only £1.00 there only good to use at least twice.
I had heard so much about the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer so had to pick it up, my shade in Light 2. So far I'm really liking it, it covers redness, dark circles and break outs.
Rimmel Londons 'stay matte pressed powder' is also very raved about, I'm shade 005 Silky Beige. This also does what its meant to, this is £3.99.
I had to invest in an actual eyebrow pencil other then using a brown eyeliner, so I got MUA's eyebrow pencil in brunette.
I also invested in the Primark face wipe, there not great but 2 packs for £1.00.
I have recently broken out and was in need of a daily scrub so I picked up the 'Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing daily scrub' It was £2.00 from Wilkinson. So far I'm not really sure what its doing for my skin!
